What the issue comes up is that most of the faculties won't teach the concept behind it instead they say blindly say follow the formula but here comes your valuable lectures by understanding the theory behind the formula
Exactly. I'm here the night before my exam on this topic, because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't grasp the concept of investment appraisal through formulas alone (all my lecturer gave). I decided to try youtube, and after watching this video I finally get it! He explains the actual logic behind the questions, making them so much easier to follow. It's tricky to do something you don't understand, I wish more people would go into the concept behind formulas like this man does.
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any tips you can give me!
It is not difficult to solve investment appraisal problems. It is not difficult to calculate the investment appraisal calculations. It is not difficult to draw up payback schedules.

I love how you don’t teach with formulas and instead tells us the theory behind it, that’s my way of learning it suits me so much! Thanks again, Sir.
I've watched so many IRR videos and this is the only one that makes sense to me. Thank you so much, you are a fantastic teacher.

How tf you determine the discount factor
Doesn't getting back $6,660 mean we are getting back less than we put in ? Ie. The $80,000?
No. In present value terms we are paying out $80,000 and getting back a total of $86,660. $6,660 is the net surplus ie.the net present value.
If I have working capital in year one
